Camera and IP Setup
IP Mode
Standard
In Standard Mode, images are processed using the standard decode algorithm.
Fast Linear Mode
This mode is used to locate and decode linear symbols that are oriented in the field of view
in such a way that a horizontal or vertical scan line can pass through the symbol completely.
The entire image is assumed to be a candidate, and will be scanned either horizontally,
vertically, or in both directions. When the number of symbols in the field of view <K518> is
set to 2, Fast Linear Mode will try to locate the candidates first and then decode. The
candidate symbols cannot be side-by-side—they must be parallel.
Fast Linear Mode (FLM) Direction
Both
The Imager tries to read both horizontally and vertically. It decides which direction to
process first based on Window of Interest dimensions. For example, if the WOI height is
greater than its width, the Imager attempts to read vertically first, and if there is no decode,
then it attempts to read horizontally.
Horizontal
This setting forces the Imager to read horizontally.
Vertical
This setting forces the Imager to read vertically.
